Tech Leader - Recommendation Systems / Personalization

Cosmose AI develops a platform integrated by eight major phone makers, capturing first-party data from millions of phones in over 60 countries. The company focuses on AI-powered mobile content and recommendation systems.

• Experience building high-scale distributed systems with ML components such as Search, Ranking, Personalization, or AdTech.
• Strong foundation in computer science and applied mathematics including statistics, optimization, and algorithms.
• Proven ability to bridge research and production from academic ideas to real-world systems.
• Proficiency in Python and knowledge of ML libraries.
• Experience leading engineering and research teams.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments balancing speed, pragmatism, and quality.
• Clear and effective communication skills in both Polish and English.

• Lead the recommendations team, defining mission, guiding the roadmap, and supporting daily execution.
• Design, prototype, and deploy ML models for content personalization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to identify impactful research directions.
• Turn research into production-ready solutions balancing innovation with performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentor and grow engineers, fostering a learning culture.
• Contribute to hiring and shaping the team.
• Stay updated with the latest ML research and technologies and apply insights to systems and strategies.
