Windows Automation Engineer

The Windows Platform Team focuses on building computing platforms that support mission-critical communication networks used by public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide.

• Experience in administration, deployment, and hands-on work with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of programming/scripting concepts such as variables, control structures, loops, and error handling.
• Willingness to master PowerShell; familiarity with other scripting languages like Python, Bash, or C# is beneficial.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with modern development tools including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile processes.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP and security concepts like TLS/PKI.

• Develop and maintain software solutions for automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems.
• Design and implement automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical communication networks.
• Write clean, scalable scripts to enable efficient, hands-off system management.
• Collaborate in an agile, global environment to ensure infrastructure deployment is effortless, secure, and reliable.
