Software Engineer (AxiomSL AI)

Nasdaq is hiring for its AxiomSL AI product team based in Wrocław, Poland. The role is part of a fast-growing, innovation-driven team focused on AI-enabled software solutions within fintech and capital markets.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong software development experience including Python for backend services and integrations.
• Strong SQL skills for working with structured enterprise data.
• Experience building and integrating APIs, services, or platform components in enterprise environments.
• Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or platform capabilities.
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in financial markets, mathematics, or computer science.
• Experience in fintech, capital markets, or regulated tech environments.
• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies applied in enterprise software platforms.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions across new and existing applications and systems architecture.
• Lead technical analysis of complex assignments, including coding, testing, debugging, and delivering robust outcomes.
• Drive security-conscious development practices and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
• Build reliable integrations between AI services, structured data sources, and enterprise platform components.
• Mentor team members, championing best practices and fostering continuous improvement and efficiency.
