Data/Information Architect - Data Platforms

The Data Management and Data Quality Platforms area serves as the foundational intelligence engine of Roche's global digital enterprise, focusing on master data management and AI-enabled semantic layers for high-trust, discoverable data views compliant with global regulations.

• Knowledge of healthcare data models, clinical/commercial nomenclatures, and nuances of managing HCP and HCO master records in regulated environments.
• Proven background in building and deploying AI/ML services interfacing with large-scale data structures, metadata, or graph architectures.
• Extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling (relational, graph, dimensional), and distributed cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with semantic layer design, metadata repositories, semantic web standards (RDF, OWL, SPARQL), and graph databases.
• Experience executing solutions compliant with strict environments (e.g., GxP, data privacy laws, ICFR frameworks).
• Knowledge of Reltio, AWS, graph databases, and knowledge graphs is beneficial.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and ability to translate complex semantic and mathematical concepts into business value.

• Strong mentorship capabilities overseeing complex projects and guiding junior-to-mid-level data architects or engineers.
• Ability to shape a technical roadmap aligned with organizational vision.

• Architect, design, and lead technical execution of modernizing enterprise Master Data Management systems integrating AI/ML capabilities for data matching, entity resolution, and data enrichment.
• Serve as primary technical architect for foundational Healthcare Professional (HCP), Healthcare Organisation (HCO), and Business Partner/Vendor master data initiatives.
• Define blueprints and mapping rules to connect transactional master data with semantic layers, ontologies, and enterprise knowledge graphs.
• Ensure master data models are machine-readable and structured to serve as ground truth for Large Language Models.
• Collaborate between infrastructure engineers, data platform managers, and clinical stakeholders to align technological implementation with industry context.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging semantic technologies and vendor systems to reduce technical debt and ensure compliance by design.
