Lead IT Expert - RDT ERP

Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is a global team at the heart of Roche, focused on shaping the digital future of healthcare by using cutting-edge digital technologies including artificial intelligence and data. It is part of Roche Polska Sp. z o.o., operating in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with a complex multi-product ERP environment.

• Proven experience designing standards-based solutions within complex multi-product enterprise environments.
• Mastery of reference architectures, data modeling, integration, and NFR management.
• Leadership in architecture reviews, technology piloting, and technical debt reduction.
• ITIL v4 certification or equivalent hands-on IT Service Management experience.
• Experience in operational service delivery, incident/problem/change management, and SLA tracking.
• Proven management of multi-million Managed Service Provider contracts and vendor performance.
• Background in GxP environments, Computer System Validation, and regulated pharma/life sciences industry preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to enterprise ERP implementations such as SAP BTP, S/4HANA, or core ERP platforms; knowledge of SAP Batch Release Hub is a plus.
• Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, mentoring, and analytical skills.

Architectural Scope & Technical Leadership:

• Design scalable ERP solutions meeting product and business requirements.
• Document and evolve architecture, managing NFRs and Architecture Decision Records.
• Define data models, taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways.
• Develop and maintain product technology roadmap, manage technical debt, and conduct vendor technical assessments.

Delivery & Service Operations Management:

• Oversee operational delivery lifecycle for ERP platforms ensuring SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are met.
• Act as major incident escalation point, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous service improvement.
• Align architectural change roadmaps with ITSM operational models and change management workflows.
• Manage vendors and service providers ensuring contract compliance and quality delivery.

Stakeholder Management & Strategy:

• Communicate complex architectural and operational concepts clearly to executives and teams.
• Negotiate trade-offs between architectural purity, delivery speed, cost, and service stability.
• Ensure alignment between IT roadmaps, business capabilities, and service operations.
