QA Engineer — Web & Mobile

Physitrack is the hiring organization.

• Three to five years of hands-on testing experience for web applications with ability to find root causes rather than symptoms.
• Practical test automation experience writing and maintaining UI or API tests with Playwright or comparable framework.
• Ability to read and reason about API contracts and payloads, query databases with SQL, and use traffic and API inspection tools.
• Practical mobile testing experience distinguishing platform conventions from defects and understanding device and OS coverage needs.
• Proven collaboration experience with Design and Product teams during specification processes.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in Polish and English at C2 or native level.

Nice to have:

• Testing experience in regulated or healthcare-adjacent domains.
• Experience with device farms or cloud device labs such as BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab.
• Experience triaging from crash and error monitoring tools like Sentry or Crashlytics.
• Accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG).

• Test the product thoroughly including web end-to-end, frontend behaviour, backend responses, and mobile on iOS and Android using an agreed device and OS matrix.
• Own and extend the Playwright automated test suite for web, investigate failures, fix flakiness, and assess automation coverage honestly.
• Verify API requests, responses, payloads, status codes, backward compatibility, and query databases directly.
• Pressure-test specifications with Product, Design, and engineers before development to cover happy paths, edge cases, error states, and empty states.
• Debug issues to root causes providing actionable information to developers.
• Reproduce and triage customer issues, maintain test plans and known-issue lists for informed release decisions.
• Use AI daily to reduce repetitive work, build reusable AI skills for the team, make small code fixes, and propose AI-driven quality improvements.
