Data Science Consultant - QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey

As a data science consultant at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, you will work in multi-disciplinary environments harnessing data to provide real-world impact for organizations globally. You will influence many of the recommendations our clients need to positively change their businesses and enhance performance. In this role, you will be responsible for working on complex and extremely varied data sets from some of the world’s largest organizations to solve real-world problems. You will develop high-quality data science products and solutions for clients as well as assets for internal data teams, focusing on modeling. Additionally, you will present findings, recommendations, and provide consultation to stakeholders, both internal and clients.

• Master's degree in (business) mathematics, statistics, economics/econometrics, machine learning, data science, physics, computer science, or engineering.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience applying advanced data science methods and implementing technical data solutions.
• Strong grasp of business intelligence, machine learning, AI, and generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL focused on data and analytics applications.
• Professional experience with cloud-based analytical tools from AWS, MS Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proven leadership experience in work or extracurricular activities.
• Practical experience in generative and agentic AI application development is a plus.
• Proven record of advisory work is a plus.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse non-technical audiences.
• Proficient communication skills in Polish and English.

• Work across various industries and sectors to build large-scale data and analytics solutions handling complex problems and advanced client situations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data and software engineers, designers, project managers, and business subject matter experts on interdisciplinary projects.
• Develop machine learning models and high-quality data science products.
• Present findings, recommendations, and provide consultation to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in generative and agentic AI, data science tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Participate in first-class learning programs and collaborative teamwork.
