Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Shiji Group provides software solutions and services for the hospitality, food service, retail and entertainment industries, including hotel management solutions, food and beverage and retail systems, payment gateways, and data management. The Daylight PMS system is a distributed system serving the hospitality industry, consisting of domain-oriented microservices developed by several cross-functional teams. Technologies used include AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, GitLab, and Nexus.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with AWS, including services EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting GNU/Linux operating systems.
• Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD processes using GitLab.
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Basic programming skills, preferably Bash or Python.

Nice to have:

• Intermediate programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch.

• Manage and troubleshoot GNU/Linux operating systems.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, or CloudFormation to implement infrastructure changes.
• Participate in CI/CD processes, especially using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with containerization technologies Docker and docker-compose.
• Maintain application environments across different AWS regions.
• Implement and manage infrastructure updates.
• Monitor observability stack including Grafana and Kibana.
• Manage tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Nexus.

Nice to have:

• Intermediate programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• Experience with monitoring technologies like ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
