Senior Test Automation Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish IT company employing over 770 experts offering developmental projects and benefits. The client is a major Norwegian financial services provider focused on modern technology with Scandinavian organizational culture valuing work-life balance and feedback. Projects are executed in international Agile teams with English communication.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber
• Proficient in Java and TypeScript for API and backend testing
• Experience with API testing, including use of WireMock or similar mocking and service virtualization tools
• Good knowledge of Gherkin, SQL, Jenkins (usage and basic configuration), qTest, and Postman or Bruno
• Experience preparing test cases and documentation
• Practical experience using AI-powered testing tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, and Angular

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, and IREB
• Experience working on banking projects or within the financial services sector

• Designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for backend and frontend applications
• Creating and maintaining test automation solutions using Java, Cucumber, and Playwright
• Performing API testing (automated and manual) for REST services
• Analyzing requirements and identifying testing scenarios
• Preparing test cases, test documentation, and test reports
• Executing manual tests on desktop and mobile platforms
• Supporting CI/CD processes and test automation integration within Jenkins
• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high product quality
• Utilizing AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and delivery quality
