The Enterprise Resilience Office (ERO) develops and governs State Street’s global resilience strategy to ensure continuity and recovery capabilities for critical business services. The role is based in Krakow, Poland, within the financial services industry.

• Degree level education.

• Strong understanding of financial services operations (payments, custody, trade lifecycle, client servicing).

Role Specifics:

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of impact tolerance, including definition, analysis validation, and periodic review.
• Ensure Impact Tolerances are clearly articulated aligned to disruption tolerance thresholds.
• Oversee recalibration based on scenario testing, material events, and dependency changes.
• Drive consistency across all Critical Business Services and legal entities.
• Strengthen data integrity, governance, and methodology for impact tolerance calculations.
• Reduce manual processes by driving standardisation, automation, and tooling enablement.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., PRA, HKMA, MAS, CPS 230).
• Track ITOL breaches and report outcomes to governance forums.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and defensible rationale.
• Define and implement a roadmap to mature impact tolerance capabilities.
• Build specialist capability across regions for consistent execution.
• Assess and propose uplifts to regulatory requirements and approaches.
• Apply knowledge of business unit operations to develop and execute resilience programme components.
• Implement and support business units in cyclical resilience activities to meet strategic and regulatory needs.
• Facilitate workshops and provide SME support.
• Lead and participate in operational resilience-related projects.
• Produce and present content to boards, committees, governance forums, and leadership.
• Engage with Global EVPs and support local Senior Management Functions (SMFs).
• Promote a culture of operational resiliency awareness and governance.
• Deputise for manager including client interactions when required.
