Expert ETL Data Transformation Delivery Lead – Banking Data Processes

The client is a major player in the banking sector involved in data transformation initiatives supporting critical banking operations.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering within the banking industry
• Strong expertise in Data Transformation and ETL solutions such as Informatica, Datastage, or Talend
• Proven experience as a Software Delivery Lead in data projects
• Solid coding and database skills including GCP, Oracle, Python, Spark, and shell scripting
• Experience with Data Warehouses or large-scale data migration projects
• Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Data Management or Data Engineering
• Experience with regulatory compliance standards in banking data

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Transformation projects managing a team of 3 to 10 ETL/ELT engineers
• Develop and maintain a delivery roadmap aligned with business needs
• Plan resources, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of data solutions
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure clear and documented requirements
• Sign off on functional requirements and deliver detailed Functional and Technical specifications
• Enforce ETL design principles including CDC, data duplication, and regulatory retention standards
• Implement transverse Data Models with Data Architects and Product Owners
• Document data processes including incoming files, data assets, scheduling, data lineage, and RTB workflows
• Manage technology risks and controls ensuring compliance and operational stability
• Oversee RTB incidents, demands, and issues to maintain smooth data operations
