Data & AI Consulting Manager / Senior Manager in Consumer & Retail - German Market

The role is within EPAM's Consumer & Retail practice focused on the German market, partnering with clients across sportswear, fashion, and fashion retail to enhance commercial, customer, supply chain, and data-driven decision-making capability using advanced analytics and AI.

• Deep expertise in Consumer & Retail with measurable business impact
• Consulting experience with structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation
• Data and AI literacy to define requirements, KPIs, and translate between business and technical teams
• Experience with end-to-end agile delivery from problem framing to adoption
• Fluent with CPG data including transaction, product, customer, syndicated, and POS data
• Comfortable with ambiguity and driving outcomes independently
• Fluent in English and German at B2 level; German language skills beneficial

• Shape pursuits and proposals by contributing to presales and defining problem scopes for Consumer & Retail clients
• Lead client discovery workshops to frame real business problems and define successful outcomes
• Build business cases including KPIs, investment rationale, and delivery roadmaps
• Own workstreams end-to-end including requirements, backlog, data readiness, governance, and value tracking
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Solution Architects to design scalable solutions
• Produce executive-level materials and present recommendations to leadership
• Support pricing & promotions analytics including elasticity modeling and trade spend optimization
• Support merchandising & category tasks such as assortment optimization and markdown clearance
• Support customer growth analytics including segmentation, CLV, churn/retention, and personalization
• Assist demand & supply chain analytics including forecasting, replenishment, and fulfillment analytics
• Explore GenAI-enabled use cases like commercial copilots and automation of analysis and reporting
