Software Developer (K/M)

Alior Bank SA is hiring a mid-level Software Developer with expertise in data warehousing and BI platforms. The role includes working with large data volumes, cloud solutions on Azure, and technologies such as Snowflake, Python, and SQL. The position is hybrid and available in Kraków, Warszawa, and Gdańsk.

• Knowledge of data warehousing or BI platforms
• At least 4 years of experience working with relational databases
• Strong expertise in Snowflake including data modeling, solution architecture, ETL/ELT batch and near real-time processes, performance tuning, and automation with Python/SQL
• Good knowledge of logical and physical data modeling
• Experience handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with Azure cloud solutions, particularly Big Data stack and ADLS
• Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Willingness to resolve incidents according to schedules
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good organization and independence in work
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Snowflake technologies, e.g., SnowPro® Associate: Platform (SOL-C01), SnowPro® Core Certification (COF C03)

• Designing and implementing data transformation processes following established design patterns
• Analyzing requirements from internal clients regarding feasibility and effort
• Adapting existing SQL/Python scripts to meet new requirements
• Testing and deploying solutions on the Modern Data Platform
• Handling incidents related to data processing on the platform
• Collaborating with end-users, analysts, architects, and technical solution designers
• Optimizing existing solutions
• Integrating data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Participating in migration and transformation projects
