AI Senior Engineer

IT Factory is an experienced company specializing in the development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a significant Polish company in the insurance and financial sector.

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, QA/Test Automation Engineer, or similar role.
• Practical experience working in production teams and knowledge of the full application lifecycle.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-based solutions in SDLC with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, M365 Copilot, and open-source models.
• Practical skills in building AI agents, workflows, skills, prompts, and integrating them with production environments (repositories, CI/CD, code review, testing).
• Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development and modern AI-supported software engineering practices.
• Understanding of LLM, RAG, automation, and agent architectures.
• Experience in production deployment of AI solutions including configuration, system integration, hardening, monitoring, and iterative development.
• Ability to translate business and technical needs into concrete implementation initiatives and solution architecture, including conducting technical workshops.
• Ability to assess AI business value, optimize model usage costs, and measure implementation effects.
• Strong communication and consulting skills to engage with technical teams, managers, and directors.
• Experience transferring engineering knowledge through pair/mob programming, joint code reviews, and collaborative solution design and development.
• Ability to standardize AI tool practices and select Agentic SDLC practices for various roles (developer, tester, analyst, DevOps).
• Service provision from Poland.
• Hybrid work mode with at least one day per week in the Warsaw office and four days remote.

Nice to have:

• Ability to support teams in operational takeover of implemented solutions, including responsibility handover and technical sessions.
• Familiarity with software development realities in large financial organizations, including security and compliance awareness.
• Analytical mindset, independence, openness to experimentation, and continuous learning.
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph and the MCP protocol.

• Implement AI tools and solutions within IT production teams, including configuration and integration.
• Design and build AI workflows, develop usage standards, and create technical documentation.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to teams working with implemented AI solutions.
• Transfer knowledge and unify practices between teams to build their independence in maintaining and developing solutions post-service.

• Service provision must be from Poland.
• Hybrid work mode: minimum 1 day per week at the office in Warsaw, 4 days remote.
