AI Senior Engineer

IT Factory is a dynamic company experienced in development, implementation, and support of IT solutions. The role is for a notable Polish company in the insurance and financial sector.

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience as Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, QA/Test Automation Engineer or similar
• Practical experience in production teams and knowledge of full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience designing and implementing AI-based tools in SDLC (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, M365 Copilot, open-source models)
• Practical skills in building AI agents, workflows, skills, prompts and integrating them with production environments (repositories, CI/CD, code review, testing)
• Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development and AI-supported modern software engineering practices
• Understanding of LLM, RAG, automation, and agent architectures
• Experience deploying AI solutions in production: configuration, integration with organizational systems, hardening, monitoring, iterative improvement
• Ability to translate business and technical needs into concrete implementation initiatives and solution architecture, including technical discovery workshops
• Ability to assess business value of AI, optimize model use costs, and measure deployment effects
• Strong communication and consulting skills for discussions with technical teams, managers, and directors
• Experience in engineering knowledge transfer during collaboration: pair/mob programming, joint code review, joint design and building of solutions
• Ability to unify AI tool usage practices and Agentic SDLC standards for roles (developer, tester, analyst, DevOps)
• Service provision from Poland
• Hybrid service provision: minimum one day per week in Warsaw office (four days remote)

• Implement AI tools and solutions in IT production teams by configuring and integrating tools in team environments
• Design and build AI workflows, usage standards, and technical documentation
• Provide hands-on engineering support to teams working with AI solutions
• Transfer knowledge and unify practices across teams to develop their autonomy in maintaining and developing AI solutions

Nice to have:

• Support teams in operational takeover of deployed solutions with gradual responsibility transfer and technical sessions
• Knowledge of software production in large financial organizations including security and compliance awareness
• Analytical approach, independence, openness to experimentation and continuous learning
• Experience with agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and MCP protocol
