AWS Cloud Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon EKS and Kubernetes production architectures.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or cloud-based generative AI/ML solutions.
• Proficiency with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of AWS networking including VPC, routing, connectivity, DNS, and load balancing.
• Understanding of AWS security and IAM with least-privilege design.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS logging, monitoring, and observability, particularly CloudWatch.
• Good knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures including AWS Lambda.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production cloud environments.
• Ability to work across full engineering lifecycle from solution design to operation.

• Design and implement end-to-end AWS solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
• Build and operate Amazon EKS environments including cluster architecture, networking, security, and lifecycle management.
• Implement solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock and related AWS services for generative AI workloads.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK based on Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications with GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions.
• Design AWS networking architectures including VPCs, routing, security groups, load balancing, and DNS.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and access controls.
• Set up logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability using AWS services.
• Integrate additional AWS services such as Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and API Gateway.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, security, Kubernetes, and deployment issues.
• Contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, automation, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with cloud engineers, application teams, architects, and security specialists.
• Continuously evaluate AWS capabilities and improve platforms and engineering practices while remaining hands-on.

The position requires working in a hybrid model with approximately two days per week in the office.
