Staff Software Engineer .NET

The position is for a Staff Software Engineer at a Global Compliance Company in Lisbon, working on a modern SaaS platform focusing on complex and scalable distributed systems with a senior technical ownership role.

• Strong expertise in .NET and C#.
• Experience with complex distributed architectures and scalable backend systems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems like Kafka.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Senior specialist level with strong technical ownership.

• Develop high-quality software using C# and .NET within distributed environments.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform evolution.
• Improve system performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on scalable SaaS solutions.
