Senior Data Scientist

deepsense.ai is a company working on AI solutions with partners like OpenAI, NVIDIA, and others, contributing to open-source projects such as ragbits, an agentic RAG framework. The team includes 100+ AI experts with extensive applied AI experience and PhD-level researchers. Projects cover various industries including software & tech, pharma & healthcare, manufacturing, retail, telecoms & media.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Science delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Proficient in classical ML techniques (e.g., linear regression, feature selection, predictive modeling, time series).
• Experienced with non-linear ML methods like gradient boosting, random forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost.
• Fluent programming skills in Python and usage of libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Effective data management and analysis skills using SQL.
• Ability to create data visualizations using matplotlib, seaborn, and plotly.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply.

Nice to have:

• Experience in data engineering and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Knowledge of dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Dash).
• Experience with NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI.
• Cloud platform experience.

• Deliver end-to-end data science solutions using classical and non-linear ML methods such as linear regression, predictive modeling, time series, gradient boosting, random forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost.
• Program in Python using libraries including NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Manage and analyze data using SQL.
• Create clear and engaging visualizations with tools like matplotlib, seaborn, and plotly.
• Translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners and apply new technologies including LLMs, MLOps, Edge Solutions, Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics.
• Contribute to open-source projects.
