Lead Python Developer

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating with third-party software through full system implementation lifecycles
• Expertise in Python
• Understanding of application security
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision
• Solid knowledge of information management, data modeling, system integration, and unit testing
• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing experience

• Communicate directly with clients daily to collect and analyze business needs
• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs
• Work as the sole developer on an application from idea to ready product
• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform used externally
• Manage multiple tasks to deliver on time with quality
• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture
• Challenge the status quo and seek individual mastery encouraging autonomy
• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture to platform development
• Ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle
• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration efforts
• Perform unit testing and follow established development methodologies
