Senior Frontend Developer

Ework Group, founded in 2000 and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, is a talent solutions provider supporting clients across private and public sectors, with a focus on IT/OT, R&D, Engineering, and Business Development. The role is for a Client in the pharma sector, working on OpenGDDS, a digital product supporting nonclinical research via semantic search and automated document creation built on Databricks and AWS infra, with a Vue.js frontend.

• BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in frontend software development
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js (or a similar SPA framework such as React or Angular)
• Broad understanding of software development including system architecture and coding for scale
• Ability to communicate technical possibilities and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Practical interest in experimentation and building MVPs
• Ability to work independently with ownership, openness to feedback, and reliability in meeting deadlines
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Python
• Experience with one or more AWS services
• Jest for unit testing
• Playwright for end-to-end testing

• Develop, maintain, and improve scalable frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue.js
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user experiences
• Contribute to frontend architecture and communicate clearly about what can be built, scaled, and maintained
• Integrate the frontend with backend services, APIs, and search capabilities across the OpenGDDS platform
• Build MVPs and experiment with new approaches with a focus on quality and long-term maintainability
• Support engineering quality through unit testing, end-to-end testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across locations and disciplines to deliver effective solutions for researchers and scientific stakeholders
