(Cybersecurity) Senior Project Manager

Antal is the recruiting company for this position. The role is focused on a complex, multi-year cybersecurity transformation programme involving Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), and cryptographic capabilities.

• Proven experience in Cybersecurity or Technology Project/Programme Management, especially within complex, multi-year transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering large-scale technology adoption, transformation, or migration programmes.
• Strong understanding of PKI and Certificate Lifecycle Management, including certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, key management, and automation.
• Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams and complex technical dependencies.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering and cybersecurity specialists effectively.
• Strong experience in senior stakeholder management and programme governance.
• Proven experience managing multi-million USD budgets, including forecasting, financial governance, and supplier spend.
• Experience working with external technology vendors and suppliers.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, international, and technology-driven environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cryptographic standards, protocols, and controls, such as TLS, X.509, OCSP, and CRL.
• Experience with certificate automation and enterprise-scale certificate management solutions.
• Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments.
• Relevant cybersecurity, project management, or technology certifications.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-year cybersecurity programme across multiple workstreams.
• Own programme scope, planning, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.
• Manage a multi-million USD budget, including forecasting, financial planning, vendor spend, and cost control.
• Provide subject-matter leadership and guidance in areas such as PKI, Certificate Lifecycle Management, certificate automation, and cryptographic controls.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technical, security, architecture, engineering, operations, risk, and compliance areas, as well as external suppliers.
• Manage dependencies and ensure alignment between multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, challenges, dependencies, and translate them into effective delivery plans.
• Ensure project outcomes meet relevant security, resilience, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Manage external vendors and support effective supplier governance.
• Prepare clear programme reporting, status updates, and executive-level presentations.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Drive operational readiness and ensure effective adoption and support of delivered capabilities.
