C++ Engineer, Mid (+Java)

B3 Consulting Poland is located in Warszawa and offers a Scandinavian culture based on logic, trust, and open dialogue. The role involves working in an international, distributed team with cooperation across product teams to build and integrate software solutions.

• Strong knowledge of C++ (approximately 80% of the role's work)
• Basic, hands-on experience with Java (around one to two years in a project)
• Fluent English communication skills at the C1+ level for day-to-day interactions in an international team
• Openness to working with other technologies including JavaScript and Python
• Willingness to work during Polish business hours
• Team-oriented attitude: sharing ideas and collaborating rather than working in isolation
• Ability to work from Poland with appropriate citizenship, residence card, or visa

Nice to have:

• Experience with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Python, particularly for tests and scripts
• Familiarity with REST API
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID, IdP
• Experience working with large data sets

• Building a new licensing model in C++ from scratch to check user entitlements to product features, handling large data sets (fetching, comparing, accepting, or rejecting)
• Integrating the solution with existing tools via interface-based integration into desktop, web, server, and batch applications, including some Java-based components
• Participating in test development including unit, integration, and regression tests
• Conducting code reviews, adjusting requirements, updating infrastructure, and maintaining internal technical documentation
