Senior Product Manager - Data & AI in Clinical Trials

• 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences, Pharma, or CRO environments with hands-on clinical trial data experience.
• Familiarity with clinical data standards like CDISC, and platforms including Medidata Rave, Veeva EDC, Oracle InForm, Veeva Vault CTMS, and Medidata CTMS.
• Knowledge of clinical analytics use cases including trial operations, site monitoring, patient recruitment, compliance reporting, and pharmacovigilance.
• Working knowledge of ICH E6 GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR/HIPAA, and clinical trial regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in German, Spanish, or French is a strong plus.
• Experience managing data products and AI products across full product lifecycle.
• Ability to facilitate executive-level strategy discussions and value articulation.
• Experience with end user engagement including product design and UATs.
• Experience delivering projects involving Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Catalogs, Predictive Analytics, ML, Generative AI, and Agentic Systems.
• Experience leading project teams of 10+ professionals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills targeting technical and business audiences.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and articulate AI opportunities and limitations.
• Passion for Data & AI and commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to TMF systems and LMS platforms.
• Experience with DCT and remote/hybrid trial data sources.
• Experience with imaging/DICOM and unstructured clinical data.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance platforms and Phase IV/post-marketing analytics.
• Prior consulting or vendor-side delivery experience within life sciences.

• Manage and coordinate consulting engagements end-to-end, owning delivery output, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Engage with customer stakeholders across Clinical Development and Clinical Trial Management, Clinical Data Management, Biometrics, Biostatistics, and R&D Data Science to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities.
• Define success measures, track value realization, adoption, and change management post go-live.
• Map stakeholder vision to data products and analytics solutions including trial operations, CRA and site monitoring, patient recruitment, data integration, compliance analytics, and pharmacovigilance use cases.
• Envision, prototype, and oversee implementation of analytical solutions based on clinical trial domain expertise.
• Drive discussions on data quality, governance, transformation, and standardization including CDISC-aligned data models and SDTM/ADaM mappings.
• Collaborate with clients on value realization, data governance, operational change management, and clinical trial analytics roadmaps.
• Work effectively with data engineering and architecture teams integrating cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Databricks) and clinical data standards.
• Participate in decisions regarding team structure and project staffing.
• Partner with account managers to build and retain strategic customer relationships.
• Support pre-sales and upsell initiatives partnering with business development teams, including RFx responses and client presentations.
