Senior Platform Engineer (DevSecOps)

At Creotech Instruments, the team develops advanced technologies for space missions, satellite systems, and critical infrastructure projects. The Platform & DevSecOps team creates and operates engineering capabilities that support software development, cybersecurity, AI workloads, and mission-critical systems across the organization.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Experience operating production-grade infrastructure and supporting engineering teams.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience managing CI/CD platforms and build pipelines.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
• Understanding of networking, storage systems, TLS, PKI, and system performance analysis.
• Programming or scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or C++.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
• Communicative English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with self-hosted observability platforms.
• Knowledge of secrets management solutions and PKI operations.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management systems.
• Experience administering virtualization platforms through automation.
• Familiarity with air-gapped, regulated, or high-assurance environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or high-availability systems.
• Interest in space technologies and satellite systems.

• Operate and evolve the organization’s CI/CD platform and build infrastructure.
• Design and maintain observability solutions covering metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Build and manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices.
• Maintain software artifact repositories, container registries, and distribution services.
• Design, implement, and regularly validate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Operate production Kubernetes clusters deployed on-premises.
• Improve platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Develop self-service capabilities that simplify infrastructure consumption across engineering teams.
• Support the implementation of DevSecOps practices and secure-by-design solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical standards.
