(AI-native) DevOps Engineer

At Zowie, we build AI agents that handle millions of real conversations every month for brands like InPost, Empik, Decathlon, and Allianz. They track packages, sort out claims, and resolve customer issues at scale. The company operates an AI platform supporting mission-critical workloads in a multi-cloud environment primarily using AWS and GCP, with infrastructure including technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Redis.

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• High degree of ownership with the ability to drive projects from requirements specification through planning, execution, and delivery.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and managed services.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code in multi-datacenter or multi-cloud deployment setups.
• Strong stakeholder management skills balancing development, infrastructure, security, and product needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic can-do attitude.
• Good familiarity with CI/CD processes and methodologies.
• AI-native engineering approach, actively using modern AI tools in daily work.

• Work with AWS and GCP infrastructure including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networking, compute, IAM, and secrets.
• Implement secure access and authorization mechanisms such as database authentication and audit flows.
• Communicate with various stakeholders across development, infrastructure, security, and product teams to understand challenges and provide solution plans.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand workflows, pain points, and constraints, ensuring platform decisions improve developer experience.
• Use tools like Jira, Git, GitLab, and Jenkins within Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience with visualization tools such as Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Experience managing storage technologies including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of managing AWS costs and backup/recovery operations.
• Experience working with SaaS or enterprise customers involving security reviews and compliance expectations.
