Senior Software Engineer (Java/ Kotlin)

• Commercial backend development experience with Java and/or Kotlin (minimum 5 years)
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot
• Practical experience with AWS
• Understanding of REST API and event-driven integrations
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Practical knowledge of Terraform
• Experience with Docker, Git, and modern DevOps practices
• Familiarity with messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience in automated testing, debugging, and production problem-solving
• Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks and quickly understand existing systems
• Readiness to learn Kotlin if lacking commercial experience
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of JavaScript and React

• Develop and maintain backend services in Java and/or Kotlin using Spring Boot
• Design and develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations
• Work with AWS services such as RDS and S3
• Create and maintain infrastructure using Terraform
• Work with relational databases and SQL
• Independently deliver functionalities from implementation to production
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
