Business Analyst – Treasury & Data

This is a 9-month project (with possibility of extension) in the Banking / Treasury sector focused on Treasury Intraday Liquidity. The role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology within a client's Treasury Intraday Liquidity team.

• 10+ years of relevant Business Analysis / Requirements Analysis experience.
• Previous experience in banking.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business analysis.
• Excellent process analysis and redesign skills.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
• Experience working between business and IT on solution design.
• Solid understanding of complex data flows and data reconciliation.
• Experience with testing and UAT.
• Experience with risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Strong documentation and process modelling skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Treasury, Liquidity Management or Intraday Liquidity.
• Background in Front Office / Financial Markets / Trad.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements.
• Understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Analyse and improve existing business processes.
• Work with complex data flows, data dependencies and reconciliation.
• Support the development of real-time data streams, dashboards and analytics.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and other documentation.
• Work closely with IT and technical teams on solution design.
• Support UAT, testing and validation activities.
• Identify risks and assess the impact of proposed changes.
• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Support project planning and delivery in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices.
