Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead

RTB House is a global company providing state-of-the-art marketing technologies with a proprietary ad-buying engine powered by Deep Learning algorithms. The company processes over 20 million requests per second in real-time auctions, serving customers from more than 90 countries.

• Excellent understanding of complex IT systems from hardware to algorithms.
• Very good knowledge of fundamental Internet protocols (DNS, HTTP, cookies).
• Good knowledge of concurrent programming and distributed systems (thread to geo-distributed clusters).
• Practical ability to monitor and analyze production systems.
• Ability to critically analyze performance of designed solutions.
• General knowledge of high scalability and high availability challenges.
• C1 level proficiency in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the AdTech/Real Time Bidding domain.
• Experience contributing to Real User Monitoring (RUM) systems.

• Design and lead implementation of system changes ensuring high performance, scalability, and observability.
• Develop tools and optimizations to improve critical user performance metrics.
• Implement, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain HTTP / gRPC services and batch jobs in Java and Python.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership solving complex system challenges.
• Participate in project planning, scoping, and code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
