The role is within the Investment Operations product area of SimCorp's Product Division, supporting financial institutions by simplifying investments, accounting, and operations. The team collaborates internationally with colleagues in Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, and Germany.
Wymagania
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in development and testing.
- Ability to quickly move from problem statement to working prototype.
- Experience writing precise technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on quality assurance skills including test design and defect triage.
- Experience working directly with clients or external counterparties.
- Solid knowledge of financial instruments such as Repos and Derivatives.
- Skilled in gathering requirements, running demos, and translating workflows.
- Ability to frame engineering decisions in terms of user and business value.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and problem structuring.
- Strong stakeholder communication bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Regular professional use of AI coding assistants like Copilot or Claude.
- Critical evaluation skills of AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of AI limitations relevant to software delivery.
- Agile practitioner fluent in Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
- Strong documentation habits treating the knowledge base as a product asset.
- Collaborative mindset with decisiveness when required.

Product Value Delivery:
- Translate business goals and user needs into product opportunities with clear value hypotheses.
- Prototype solutions early and often to validate ideas before full build.
- Collaboratively define scope anchored to user value.
- Track and communicate the impact of delivered features.
Engineering Quality:
- Write and review technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Assess feasibility and build-vs-integrate trade-offs.
- Review and test deliverables against requirements.
- Identify technical debt and systemic risks.
- Maintain live and accurate system documentation.
AI-Enabled Development:
- Use AI tools like Copilot and Claude as part of daily routine.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated artifacts for correctness and fit.
- Guide team on responsible AI usage.
- Identify AI opportunities to accelerate prototyping and reduce low-value work.
Team Agile Practices:
- Maintain a prioritized product backlog.
- Work closely with engineers to unblock and review implementation.
- Serve as liaison between stakeholders and delivery team.
