Embedded C/C++ Engineer

• Minimum 6 years experience in embedded software development
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ and Embedded Linux environment
• Experience in firmware development and maintenance for embedded devices
• Practical experience in IoT or industrial automation cybersecurity
• Experience implementing secure-by-design and secure-by-default approaches
• Knowledge of PKI, key management, and code signing
• Experience implementing secure firmware update and rollback mechanisms
• Familiarity with authentication and encryption of data in rest and transit
• Knowledge of vulnerability processes including SBOM and Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure
• Experience in security testing: fuzzing and penetration testing
• Knowledge of best practices in embedded system logging and security
• Practical use of AI tools for code analysis and data flow tracking
• Ability to create and implement AI-native workflows supporting team work
• Experience stabilizing code and reducing technical debt
• Proficiency in English enabling work in an international environment and technical documentation

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for Embedded Linux environments
• Work with complex legacy codebases (legacy monolith) for embedded systems
• Stabilize and modernize existing code and reduce technical debt
• Implement mechanisms complying with Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
• Deploy key management (PKI), code signing, and secure firmware update processes with rollback
• Integrate with external platforms delivering signed firmware packages
• Apply secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices in embedded software
• Implement authentication, data encryption at rest and in transit, and minimize attack surface
• Develop security product processes including SBOM and Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure
• Lead and support security testing activities including fuzzing and penetration testing
• Implement logging and security monitoring mechanisms
• Use AI tools for analyzing and mapping large codebases and risk identification
• Introduce code quality metrics and engineering standards
• Mentor and educate the team on quality, security, and legacy code practices
• Collaborate in a fully remote work model
