Infrastructure Security Engineer

Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA, Oddział w Polsce operates a Digital Hub established in 2026 in Wrocław, which is responsible for developing and maintaining software and connected digital services for the Toyota and Lexus brands in Europe. The Cybersecurity team within TME’s IT & Digital division supports the transformation of Toyota’s European IT operations by managing cyber risks and building security frameworks across digital assets and operations.

• Relevant experience in infrastructure security, network security, or related field.
• Experience hardening various operating systems (Windows/Linux/MacOS), mobile, or cloud-connected endpoints.
• Experience in enterprise or complex environments with diverse stakeholders and technologies.
• Skills in network segmentation, firewalling, remote connectivity.
• Knowledge of secure OS configuration, compliance baselines, endpoint lifecycle management.
• Experience with endpoint protection technologies such as anti-malware, EDR, device control.
• Expertise in vulnerability management, risk prioritization, and remediation tracking.
• Understanding of security controls for servers, virtualization, storage, and data-centre environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell, and ideally Python or Bash.
• Understanding of AI applications in infrastructure security and responsible AI usage.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with hybrid-cloud security, cloud-connected infrastructure, and cloud-native security controls.
• Knowledge of security hardening frameworks such as CIS, ISO 27001, NIST, or internal standards.

Optional Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+, EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CISSP, or equivalent.

• Secure Toyota’s core IT infrastructure: servers, data centers, hypervisors, networks, storage systems, and endpoints.
• Conduct architecture reviews and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage network segmentation, firewalling, and privileged-access governance.
• Participate in incident response across critical environments.
• Collaborate with endpoint engineering, modern device management, security operations, infrastructure, identity, network, and support teams.
• Analyze security baselines and detect and remediate deviations.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle, including servers and mobile devices.
• Use scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Employ AI use cases in infrastructure security for monitoring, incident triage, anomaly detection, and automation of repetitive tasks.
