Infrastructure Architect Senior Specialist

The Digital Hub in Wrocław is Toyota Motor Europe’s IT research and development centre responsible for developing and maintaining software and connected digital services for Toyota and Lexus brands in Europe.

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken, comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Several years of proven experience as an architect in complex, enterprise IT environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to ask the right questions, cross-check facts, and uncover true states.
• Broad, hands-on knowledge of modern IT technologies and infrastructure, including cloud and SDLC topics as well as on-premise realities.
• Ability to think in use cases and capabilities, organize large technology landscapes into principles and patterns, and assist others in applying them.
• Strong ownership, able to drive topics end-to-end across multiple teams with minimal guidance.
• Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced colleagues.
• AI-minded and actively use AI to accelerate learning, analysis, and delivery.
• Eagerness to keep learning and stay ahead of technology trends.

• Work closely with technology experts, infrastructure teams, application solution architects, and lead developers, owning architectural leadership on strategic topics.
• Lead onboarding of complex, high-impact application projects by assessing ecosystem impact, defining target architecture, and driving technological changes to completion.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to introduce and industrialise new technologies, including impact analysis, planning, and multi-domain follow-up.
• Own and publish technology roadmaps covering lifecycle, rationalisation, and end-of-life; drive strategic decisions on adoption, consolidation, and retirement.
• Define reference architectures, detailed patterns, and standards; ensure adoption across application and infrastructure teams.
• Act as senior contact for application teams, understanding needs, anticipating requirements, identifying improvements, and facilitating alignment with technology support.
• Identify dependencies and lead planning of upgrades, migrations, and large-scale transformations of critical technologies.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Middleware, Database, and other Core IT teams on roadmap alignment, priorities, and governance.
• Mentor and coach junior architects and graduates, review their work, and foster team capability development.
• Represent Infrastructure Architecture team in governance bodies, technology review boards, and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team methods, tools, and frameworks.
