Senior AI Engineer (Agents)

Emergesoft has 14 years on the market, operates on 3 continents, and has about 100 people onboard with over 90% at Senior level. They support an international FinTech & Telecom group building world-class AI capabilities including platforms, agents, and intelligent systems supporting financial services across multiple markets.

• Minimum 5–7 years of overall software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Hands-on experience building with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt and context engineering, tool/function calling, and retrieval patterns (RAG).
• Practical experience with agentic frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, or automation platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional backend language such as C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with enterprise APIs and transactional systems with attention to rate limiting, error handling, and retry mechanisms.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field with solid background in version control (Git), testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and production monitoring.

Nice to have:

• Experience in FinTech, banking, or high-volume transactional environments.
• Relevant technical certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), software engineering, or AI.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

• Design and build production-ready AI agents and automations based on prioritized enterprise use cases.
• Develop connectors, integrations, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect agents with core enterprise APIs and transactional platforms.
• Perform agent evaluation, behavioral testing, prompt tuning, and quality assurance for autonomous execution.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and incident response for deployed agents and workflow automations.
• Collaborate with Agentic & MCP Architect and Enterprise AI Architect on safety guardrails, design patterns, and engineering standards.
