Java Developer (Kafka)

• Minimum 8 years of experience working with Java technology.
• Very good knowledge of Java 21+, Spring Boot 3, and Hibernate.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of code optimization, application performance, and multithreaded programming.
• Experience with Kafka Streams, stream processing, and asynchronous communication.
• Good knowledge of sorting algorithms, data structures (maps, tree maps), and database indexes.
• Familiarity with DDD (Domain Driven Design) approach.
• Experience with ELK tools, Dynatrace, and Redis.
• Experience with testing frameworks JUnit 5, Mockito, and RestAssured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
• Experience working with RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Experience in projects for financial or banking sector.
• STEM higher education.
• Availability to start cooperation from October.

• Knowledge of agile project methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• High analytical skills.
• Experience in development and support of transactional internet systems in the financial domain.

• Realize services in the financial/banking sector within projects involving client data processing.
• Participate in projects related to integration of banking systems and adaptation of modules for Erste Group solutions.
• Collaborate on creating architectural and system concepts.
• Maintain and develop backend and REST API interfaces.
• Propose technical solutions and develop new functionalities.
• Deliver development tasks on time ensuring high-quality software.
• Conduct tests and participate in CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate continuously with project team members and stakeholders.
• Use technologies such as Java 21+, Spring Boot 3, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, ELK, and Dynatrace.
• Provide services in a hybrid model, attending office 1 time every 3 months in Warsaw, Poznań, or Wrocław.
