Senior Data Architect

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development, utilizing a broad spectrum of IT services including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or Domain Architect
• At least 1 year of practical technical experience with banking systems
• Experience designing data warehouses, data repositories, or enterprise-class data platforms
• Practical knowledge of data modeling and data migration processes
• Experience with multi-source systems integration projects
• Experience defining architectural standards and patterns
• Skills in requirements modeling
• Experience designing and implementing Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and integration tools
• Strong knowledge of databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake or similar
• Good knowledge of SQL and data modeling methodologies (ERD, UML, ArchiMate)
• Experience with system integration techniques such as REST API, SOAP, Kafka, and RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with at least one of the cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with business and technical stakeholders

• Participating in banking projects focusing on data architecture
• Defining and documenting system integrations and data exchange standards
• Collaborating with IT analysts and development teams to define and implement solutions
• Ensuring consistency between business requirements and technical solutions
• Preparing complete integration specifications including technical documentation and data mapping
• Designing data flow processes and database structures
• Creating and updating technical documentation
• Reporting work progress according to project methodology
• Designing a central database consolidating data from key source systems
• Defining, designing, and implementing data integration and consolidation mechanisms
• Developing and applying data quality standards with monitoring and control mechanisms
• Preparing a data platform development strategy integrating reporting and analytical tools
• Remote work with occasional team meetings in Warsaw office
