Database Security Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst

• Experience in Cyber Security / Database Security
• Practical ability to analyze security alerts and identify suspicious activities
• Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, access management, and privileged accounts
• Knowledge of database security concepts
• Understanding of Risk & Compliance and security controls
• Knowledge of regulations and requirements related to data security, particularly GDPR, DORA, and PCI DSS
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions, particularly IBM Guardium or similar tools
• Knowledge of detection mechanisms and monitoring rule creation
• Practical knowledge of Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, or SOAR solutions
• Experience in automating security-related processes

• Analyzing security alerts and identifying suspicious activity within databases
• Investigating SQL logs and assessing potential security risks
• Monitoring user activity and privileged accounts
• Assessing risks related to database security
• Supporting the implementation and improvement of security controls
• Supporting compliance with requirements related to GDPR, DORA, and PCI DSS
• Creating and developing security monitoring and detection rules
• Supporting the automation of security monitoring and analysis processes

Start date: January 2027. Location: Tricity (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot). Remote/hybrid work possible with occasional visits to the Tricity area.
