Senior Test Automation Engineer – UI and API Frameworks

Senior Test Automation Engineer position at ITDS, for a client focused on technology services advancing software quality and user experience. The role is based in Warsaw and offers a hybrid work model.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation within an enterprise environment.
• Practical expertise with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Solid experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or .NET for scripting automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for automated testing.

Nice to have:

• Performance/load testing experience with tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Domain exposure to financial services or transfer agency domains.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks at UI and API levels to support rapid deployment cycles.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous regression coverage and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify test coverage gaps and edge cases early in development.
• Analyze test failures and defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
• Manage test data and environment stability to maximize automated testing efficiency.
• Report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness to stakeholders.
