Senior Java Developer - Talent pool

The role is with Transition Technologies PSC, working on a large transformation program for an insurance market company.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in Java
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience in designing and developing microservices
• Experience in designing and implementing REST API
• Knowledge of Angular and experience working with frontend applications
• Ability to use AI tools supporting software development
• Readiness to work hybrid with at least one day per week at the Warsaw office

Nice to have:

• Docker and Kubernetes
• RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with Playwright
• Experience in CI/CD
• Knowledge of IT Security topics
• Experience mentoring developers or acting as a Technical Leader
• Insurance domain knowledge, preferably in claims processing

• Develop backend applications and services using Java
• Build and evolve systems with microservice architecture
• Design and implement REST API and integrations
• Participate in solution architecture design
• Develop automated tests and maintain code quality
• Perform code reviews
• Work with event-driven systems and Apache Kafka
• Apply DDD in solution design
• Analyze and solve technical and performance issues
• Use AI tools to support software development
• Collaborate within a Scrum team

Candidates must be ready to work hybrid - minimum 1 day per week in the office in Warsaw.
