Senior Frontend Developer React/TypeScript

DCG is a recruitment company providing ongoing support through a management style and partnership approach, working on numerous recruitment projects for various partners.

• 8+ years professional software development experience with at least 6 years hands-on React.js development
• Strong practical experience with React.js and TypeScript
• Experience developing enterprise-scale front-end applications
• Good understanding of modern front-end architecture and component-based development
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API or similar
• Ability to work with UI/UX designs and tools like Figma, translating into front-end implementations
• Experience integrating applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility
• Basic knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility principles
• Experience with automated front-end testing, including unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized application environments
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers, developers and other stakeholders
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture, particularly Module Federation
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience in financial services, banking or transfer agency environments
• Previous experience working with enterprise-level design systems

• Design and develop front-end features using React.js, TypeScript and modern front-end technologies
• Implement approved UI/UX designs aligned with the established Design System and development standards
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries
• Collaborate with Senior UI/UX and Front-End specialists for accurate and consistent design implementations
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and backend microservices
• Ensure high application performance, responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Support compliance with web accessibility standards including WCAG
• Identify and raise potential usability, consistency and design issues during implementation
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production issues
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for front-end components
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, refinement sessions and Agile ceremonies
