Senior Java Developer (Spring, Kafka, Angular)

IT Factory is a dynamic company experienced in development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a significant Polish company in the insurance and finance industry.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in Java with very good language knowledge
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience in designing and developing microservices
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Ability to use AI tools supporting software development processes
• Willingness to work hybrid (minimum 1 day a week in the Warsaw office)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Playwright
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of IT Security issues
• Experience in CI/CD
• Experience mentoring developers or serving as a Technical Leader

• Build and extend claim reporting and processing systems in a distributed microservices and monolithic architecture
• Participate in designing architecture using modern solutions
• Improve handling of selected business processes
• Maintain software quality by developing an automated test pyramid
• Perform and receive code reviews
• Participate in scrum events of the agile team
• Collaborate daily in a team focused on knowledge sharing and high code quality in large, high-volume systems

Work mode: hybrid with minimum 1 day per week in the Warsaw office.
