Software Engineer I - (streaming technologies)

• 0+ years of experience; B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program
• Solid programming skills in C or C++ (coursework, internships, or personal projects)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, sockets, NAT traversal basics
• Exposure to real-time media streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTP, or WebRTC (including ICE/TURN)
• Exposure to multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer or FFmpeg
• Strong English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, analytical, tenacious problem solver
• Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality deliverables
• Proven team experience and comfort in a team-oriented environment
• Passion for technology and creating high quality consumer technology products

Nice to have:

• Experience with C#/.NET
• Familiarity with Linux development environments
• Exposure to video codecs and containers (H.264/H.265, RTP payload formats)

• Designing, implementing, and testing new software features across video streaming services and media pipelines
• Working with real-time streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTP, and WebRTC, and multimedia frameworks like GStreamer to deliver live and recorded video
• Investigating and resolving streaming issues including connectivity, NAT traversal, latency, and stream quality
• Innovating and improving existing products
• Analyzing functional requirements and product specifications
• Assisting in researching, adopting, and integrating new technologies
• Taking ownership of projects to ensure timely completion
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance to develop test plans
