Podsumowanie oferty

As Principal AI Engineer, you will be the technical owner of a Python-based AI core for a US health-tech AI-driven mobile coaching platform. You will audit the codebase, define evolving architecture, build test and evaluation tools, and ensure production stability. The role includes leading design decisions, mentoring a team, and representing the AI core in client architecture discussions.

Wymagania

7+ years of production experience with Python at senior+ level
Deep LangGraph experience including state graphs, checkpoints, interrupts, multi-agent supervision, subgraphs
Strong LangChain ecosystem knowledge (chains, tools, memory, output parsers, callbacks)
Production FastAPI experience (streaming responses, dependency injection, middleware, async patterns)
Experience with Celery + Redis broker including task ordering, retries, idempotency, priority queues, and dead-letter handling
Concurrency in Python with asyncio, threading boundaries, and safe sync-async mixing
Multi-datastore operations with MongoDB, Redis, and Postgres in a single service with transaction boundaries
Experience with OpenAI API at scale managing rate limits, retries, fallback model routing, streaming, tool/function calling
Agent design patterns knowledge including ReAct, plan-and-execute, supervisor patterns, tool-use loops, multi-turn state, and interrupt resumption
Prompt engineering discipline including evaluation, A/B testing, version control of prompts, and regression detection
Token cost optimization techniques like prompt caching, model tiering, context window trimming, and summary memory
Production LLM observability including per-route token spend, prompt-level tracing, and drift monitoring
Testing discipline with pytest, including pytest-asyncio, property-based testing, snapshot tests, and evaluation-based tests for agents
Fluency with Pydantic v2 and type-hinted code

Nice to have:

RAG production experience with vector stores like Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector
Production incident command experience for LLM-powered systems
ML engineering background including model serving and feature engineering
Experience with Anthropic / Claude API alongside OpenAI
Data pipeline experience with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect
Domain knowledge in fitness, health, or wearables
Experience integrating with cross-team JSI / native bridges (Python core integration with mobile)

Obowiązki

First 90 days:

Audit atlas-ai including agent flows, LangGraph state machines, Celery topology, datastore usage, and OpenAI integration patterns
Produce a written assessment of operational risk including failure modes, race conditions, retry semantics, idempotency, and checkpoint integrity
Quantify token cost per agent flow and user session
Identify highest-risk subsystems and propose stabilization plans
Build or harden evaluation harness for agent flows with golden cases, regression suites, hallucination, and safety tests
Lead knowledge-transfer sessions from the client's AI team

Ongoing:

Set technical direction for the AI core
Lead design for new agent flows and major changes
Own production health of the AI surface with platform/SRE support
Hire and mentor the AI squad engineers
Represent AI core in cross-team architecture conversations
