Senior MLOps Engineer

This role is for a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a new fintech project focusing on building and developing modern machine learning solutions. The client is a well-established and rapidly growing Polish business combining the scale and stability of a large organization with the pace, autonomy, and technical challenges of building a new business area. The project involves solutions supporting payments and financial products using a modern technology stack alongside experienced technology teams. The employer, Jit Team, is a Polish company with over 770 experienced experts engaged in developmental projects, benefits, and professional development programs, also active in charitable and educational initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in MLOps engineering or closely related platform engineering roles
• 2+ years of experience designing and operating model serving infrastructure in production
• Strong expertise in Python development
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including ML workloads and platform integrations
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Practical experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, model registry, and deployment workflows
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle management and production ML operations
• Experience with streaming platforms and CDC architectures
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, OpenTofu)
• Experience building highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
• Fluent English communication skills

• Design and operate model serving infrastructure in production environments
• Implement A/B testing, shadow deployments, and advanced release strategies for ML models
• Design and implement event-driven architectures
• Work across engineering and data teams with strong communication skills

Candidates should be located in or willing to occasionally visit offices in Warsaw, Kraków, or the Tricity area, typically once a month. Preferred locations include Warsaw, Kraków, and Trójmiasto with attendance at client locations once a month. In our offices, employees are expected to come approximately once a week.
