DR Governance Program Lead (EU Agency Project)

Optiveum is a specialized tech recruitment and outsourcing company sourcing this role on behalf of their IT consulting partner. The position involves working within the DESOPS framework, delivering services for a prestigious European Union agency in Warsaw operating in international security and border management.

• Strong understanding of ICT Disaster Recovery governance and operational readiness.
• Ability to translate Business Continuity Management (BCM) requirements and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outputs into structured ICT Disaster Recovery activities.
• Working knowledge of backup, restore, replication, failover/failback, and service recovery concepts.
• Strong coordination skills across infrastructure, operations, applications, security, and vendors.
• Willingness and eligibility to undergo a security screening procedure within the first 45 days to obtain a CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL clearance. Holding a valid clearance is a strong advantage.

• Support the Data Centre Team Lead in coordinating the ICT Disaster Recovery workstream within the Data Centre Team.
• Contribute to ICT DR plan definition, review, and continuous upkeep for all in-scope services.
• Coordinate DR planning, testing cycles, reporting, and remediation tracking.
• Maintain DR readiness visibility by managing dashboards, evidence status, and action tracking.
• Act as the primary focal point for ICT DR coordination towards Business Continuity Management (BCM) and internal stakeholders.

Must be willing and eligible to undergo a security screening procedure within the first 45 days to obtain a CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL clearance.
