Senior AWS Infrastructure .Net Application Engineer

• 6+ years hands-on experience in infrastructure and application engineering supporting AWS and Windows production systems.
• Strong experience managing AWS infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, including Git-based review and deployment workflows.
• Strong administration skills for Windows Server (IIS, Windows services, certificates, permissions, scheduled tasks) with proven migration experience between server versions.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework and SQL Server in production, including legacy VB/VB6 applications, web services, and WCF.
• Proven experience resolving application security and code quality issues using SonarQube, including data masking/tokenization and knowledge of PCI requirements.
• Experience with Control-M or similar batch scheduling tools, plus strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Solid engineering fundamentals, proactive ownership mindset, and ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, or Next.js.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance engineering productivity and workflows.

• Provision and manage AWS resources (EC2 instances, IAM roles, security groups, load balancers, target groups, certificates) using Infrastructure as Code, reviewing changes and troubleshooting deployments.
• Own patching, security remediation, monitoring, production troubleshooting, and improve reliability, security, observability, and maintainability through automation.
• Assess production Windows servers and document application dependencies, configurations, service accounts, connectivity, and scheduled jobs.
• Install, configure, and migrate legacy VB/VB6 applications, IIS-hosted applications, web services, WCF services, and Control-M batch processes to replacement servers, resolving compatibility and connectivity issues.
• Prepare and execute migration plans, conduct functional validation, production cutovers, rollback procedures, and support handovers.
• Resolve security and code quality findings from SonarQube scans, remediate sensitive-data exposure risks, and implement or improve file masking and tokenization.
• Make targeted application and configuration changes with clean code and appropriate testing; document changes, outcomes, and risks.
• Partner with client engineers and security and operations specialists for scope alignment, change validation, and knowledge transfer.
