Senior Full-stack / Tech Lead (m / f)

Medicover is a company with a dedicated Sport & Fitness Systems Department responsible for developing and maintaining the main operational system for Medicover's sports services. The role focuses on supporting the management of fitness club networks within the Medicover Group.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise systems.
• At least 3 years in roles such as Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Lead Developer.
• Experience in modernizing and transforming monolithic systems into microservice architectures (preferred).
• Experience leading technology initiatives for high-availability and high-user-count systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture design.
• Experience designing APIs including REST, event-driven architecture, and messaging.
• Practical knowledge of public cloud, preferably Azure.
• Experience developing solutions based on containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to define architectural and quality standards.
• Experience with relational databases and strategies for their modernization and partitioning in microservices environments.
• Knowledge of system observability including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Ability to assess technological and security risks.
• Leadership skills including managing technical teams without direct line responsibility.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and enforcing technical standards.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.
• Focus on mentoring, team development, and building a culture of quality.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fitness, healthcare, retail, or service network industries.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, or TOGAF.
• Experience migrating to event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.

• Define and implement the technology strategy for an application supporting fitness club network operations.
• Lead the architectural transformation from monolith to microservices.
• Design target system architecture focusing on scalability, reliability, security, and business requirements.
• Develop and oversee the technology roadmap execution.
• Enhance cybersecurity by implementing best practices.
• Define architectural, technological, and quality standards for development teams.
• Oversee code quality, software development processes, and CI/CD practices.
• Coordinate work of two external IT delivery teams including planning, prioritization, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, business analysts, corporate architects, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Support development teams in solving complex technical problems and making key architectural decisions.
• Manage technical debt and initiate modernization efforts.
• Analyze and recommend new technologies to improve platform efficiency and stability.
• Participate in product development planning and technology initiative estimation.
• Foster a technical culture based on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and continuous improvement.
