Project Manager Poland

SAAB TECHNOLOGIES POLAND sp. z o.o. is the employer, based in Warszawa, Poland, offering the position of Project Manager in the IT software development domain focused on project and product management.

• Academic Degree in electrical engineering, communications technology, computer science or similar
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2 beneficial but not mandatory
• Several years of professional experience as system engineer, development engineer or technical product management in complex projects
• Willingness to work with high-end technology/products
• Military career is an advantage
• Domain knowledge in RF-based systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of project management methods and tools
• Analytical approach, initiative, structured working style
• Team-oriented manner, confident demeanor, negotiation and strong communication skills
• Preferred residence in Gdańsk or Warsaw regions
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within Poland and Europe
• Fluent in Polish and English, both spoken and written

• Managing a project integrated centrally by the lead system integrator in Europe
• Managing activities of the project team of service engineers and technicians
• Enabling the project team and coordinating with Back-office Manager in Europe on logistics processes at sites in Poland
• Following up activities defined for Service Engineers with System Engineer Lead and Customer Support Lead from Europe
• Supporting onsite activities including setting up and testing RF-related systems and software-based control and management
• Coordinating and supporting training on systems
• Conducting inspections and documentation with end-users and logistics units
• Handover to end-user including quality checks and technical documentation
• Supporting global lead integration with applicable documentation
• Supporting lead integration with local commercial aspects
• Following up milestones defined by lead integrator in Europe
• Following up activities with local suppliers
• Reporting to Program Manager in Europe
