Mid-Level IBM Sterling File Gateway Engineer

This role is for a Krakow-based position with hybrid work model in enterprise application integration focused on secure and resilient file transfer solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway and related technologies.

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within enterprise environments.
• Practical expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, External Authentication Server, or Secure Proxy.
• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols: sFTP, AS2, HTTPS.
• System administration skills on both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Fluent English language skills (interviews conducted fully in English).

Nice to have:

• Broader experience with the IBM Sterling product suite.
• Experience working in a distributed, international team environment.

• Implement, configure, and operate IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and related components (Connect:Direct, External Authentication Server, Secure Proxy, Control Center).
• Manage and support file transfer protocols including sFTP, AS2, and HTTPS to ensure secure data exchange.
• Administer Windows and Linux environments, maintaining high availability and performance.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities and conduct application upgrades to enhance system security and stability.
• Execute disaster recovery exercises (DRE) to validate business continuity plans.
• Support change implementations, occasionally outside regular hours, including weekends if needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with global teams to optimize processes and share best practices.
