Senior IT System Administrator

JYSK is an international company operating distribution centres across Europe, focusing on logistics and retail with over 3,000 stores worldwide. The role involves working in the Distribution Centre in Radomsko, Poland, as part of an international IT team supporting logistics IT infrastructure across multiple European distribution centres.

• Solid experience (3+ years) as a Senior IT System Administrator in complex IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell)
• Experience with VMware and knowledge of Hyper-V, including migrations
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English – minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Linux environments
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), SLAs and root cause analysis
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, VCP)
• Experience with documentation, Microsoft Office and diagram tools

• Design and implement system standards together with IT Architects
• Lead the migration from VMware to Hyper-V environments
• Strengthen IT security in server environments in line with HQ guidelines
• Coordinate tasks and activities within the Logistics IT Server Administration Team
• Ensure performance optimisation, high availability, and SLA compliance
• Plan and execute patching, updates, and service windows
• Proactively monitor systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Support IT projects with technical input and secure high-quality documentation
