Embedded Linux Developer (C/C++ & Yocto)

• Experience with Embedded Linux systems
• Practical knowledge of C for Linux user-space applications
• Good knowledge of C++ in Embedded Linux environments
• Experience creating multithreaded applications and synchronization mechanisms: mutex, semaphore, condition variable
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven applications
• Knowledge of CMake and build configuration process
• Knowledge of Python for scripting, tooling, automated tests, and validation
• Familiarity with MQTT protocol and JSON data format
• Good knowledge of systemd services, timers, and service start configurations
• Knowledge of relational databases, especially SQLite3
• Experience with Yocto Project: creating and modifying recipes, MACHINE and DISTRO configuration, package and application integration
• Experience preparing and maintaining Board Support Package (BSP)
• Knowledge of configuring and customizing the Linux Kernel in Yocto environment and U-Boot
• Ability to create, modify, and analyze Device Tree (DTS/DTSI)
• Experience launching and integrating new hardware on Embedded Linux platforms
• Practical skills using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, and performing current, voltage, and digital signal measurements
• Ability to solder SMD components, connect measurement wires, and prepare debugging stations

• Developing applications in C and C++ for an IoT device running Embedded Linux
• Implementing multithreading, asynchronous, and event-driven mechanisms
• Developing communication between devices using MQTT and managing data
• Creating scripts, tools, and automatic tests using Python
• Developing and configuring Yocto recipes, integration of applications and packages
• Preparing and maintaining Board Support Package (BSP), customizing Linux Kernel, U-Boot, and Device Tree (DTS/DTSI)
• Starting, integrating, and debugging hardware using measurement tools

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Git and experience with Code Review
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI or Jenkins
• Knowledge of Docker
• Experience with ARM Cortex-A architectures
